Good evening everyone … and welcome to Full Circle, your cultural affairs radio magazine, produced by members of the First Voice Apprenticeship Program. We are broadcasting live from Huichin, occupied Ohlone territory, also known to settlers as the East Bay Area.

Tonight we get updates on the effective lockdown that began last September at Corcoran State Prison. The lockdown prompted over 250 people in the prison to go on hunger strike.

We’ll speak with a family member of one striker… as well as groups organizing in support of striking prisoners.

And later …

Police unions across the state are attempting to block the release of officer misconduct records, which have been requested by victims of police violence & other members of the public. We’ll speak with Full Circle’s technical director, Freewillin’ Franklin, who filed the records request in Antioch.

All that coming up on Full Circle.
